1Q2020 : Week 5

Best meal I've had this year in 2020. The flavor! Seriously good stuff. Took me a bit longer to cook just because I was unfamiliar with my instant pot, so took about 40 minutes to prepare and cook. Now that I've done it, it could be done in 15-20 min. Cooked on Monday 1/27

Really had a hard time on Tuesday. Was feeling great that morning, but I discovered I had left my running shoes at someone else's house that evening. Really threw off my groove. Did some organizing that evening (will be creating an organizing system later, another blog?). Woke up at 11pm, and was really upset in an existential way. Not fun.

 Ran 8 miles at night on Wednesday. Easy, no difficulty.

Oof, no progress. Well, maybe a little. I got in a 15 mile run on Saturday, which was pretty lame of me, considering I had envisioned something closer to 25. No cooking progress, sorry.

On 2/8 I got in that 25 mile run. I ran two 12.5 loops and took a break between to do some snow plowing. Noice.

I'm a bit more mellow right now. I think I'll run 50 next weekend. I feel like I need to break the mold a little bit. It's 2/10 and I've recovered most of the way. I'm thinking that 50 will take about 12 hours without pushing myself too hard. I'll start around 5am and see what happens.
