Hello World!

First post. (TLDR This post states the purpose and mission of the blog)

The purpose of this blog is to help me document my adventures in vegan diet and long distance running. I'm aware that there are many, many sources on the internets regarding each of these topics (as well as both topics jointly). I feel that I'll be more inclined to record my progress and note insights if it's online (as opposed on my laptop drive or in a notepad).

I'm happy to respond to comments (if any happen to appear)

I'll have been on a plant-based (vegan) diet for two years in April. I had my first ultra last September. I petered out in that 100 mile race around mile 60. I blame poor preparation on my part in a number of areas (this will be a topic I'm sure). I'll be running two ultra-distance races this upcoming summer (a 100k and the same 100 mile as last year, naturally).

For now, I expect to post at least weekly.
